Besins Healthcare (UK) Ltd have sponsored the development of an e-learning module on adult testosterone deficiency, designed for general practitioners in association with the Primary Care Testosterone Advisory Group (http://www.pctag.uk/e-learning-testosterone-deficiency/). We have received permission from the PCTAG to include a link to the e-learning module on this hub. This is an excellent tool for upskilling both internal and external audiences.
This module helps plug the gap in resources and education on men’s health that is available to HCPs. It is approximately 1 hour in duration and you can dip in and out of it as you wish. There are a small number of questions throughout the module to help reinforce knowledge; summaries at the end of each section, and practical case-based discussions to apply your learning into everyday potential scenarios. Finally, there is a self-assessment consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions at the end of the module. Following successful completion of the self-assessment you will be able to access and print/save your certificate. Click here to access the module
Please note this link will take you to an external website where the module is hosted, so different T&Cs apply. Besins is not responsible for the content of the website that this link directs you to.

AndroGel 16.2 mg/g gel and AndroGel 1% gel preparations are indicated in adults as testosterone replacement therapies for male hypogonadism when testosterone deficiency has been confirmed by clinical
features and biochemical tests.
Historically, the focus from both HCPs and industry has been on the sexual symptoms of testosterone deficiency (TD), in particular, low libido and erectile dysfunction. Whilst these remain the most common individual TD symptoms that patients present with, there are many other symptoms and conditions that are associated with TD.
In this section you will find a series of PowerPoint slides that summarise the evidence-base for testosterone in these associated conditions.
